Cauliflower Buffalo Wings

Crispy and spicy, these mouthwatering cauliflower buffalo wings are the perfect dish for any occasion!

Recipe

Ingredients:
1 large head of cauliflower (about 5 cups)

1 cup water
3/4 cups flour
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup vegan Medium or Mild Buffalo sauce
1 tablespoon vegan butter, melted

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and  line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the water, flour, garlic powder, onion powder and salt; mix well.
  4. Toss  the cauliflower into the batter and mix until all of the florets are evenly coated.
  5. Remove the cauliflower from the bowl, one at a time  and tap off the excess batter before placing them on the pre-lined baking sheet with none of the florets touching.
  6. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.  Flip over and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, mix together the buffalo sauce and the "butter" in a small bowl.
  8. Once golden brown, remove cauliflower florets from the oven and dip into Buffalo sauce mixture.
  9. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.  Remove from the oven and serve while still warm.  Enjoy!
