Eating Out as a Vegan
Being vegan at home isn't very difficult; it's eating out that's the challenge. There are so many restaurants, but when you look at the menu, there don't seem to be many options that are vegan! However, there are some options out there, and they are very tasty; you just need to know where to look!
Not too long ago, my Mami and little sister made a trip to Oklahoma, passing through Oklahoma City, so I did some research and came up with a collection of the vegan and vegetarian restaurants in the area. Here they are!
Soft pretzels are great tasty snacks that are perfect for just about any occasion! Wetzel's Pretzels offers not one, or two vegan options, but several others as well! All that these options require to make them vegan is that you ask them to omit the butter brushing!
The original Disney Theme Park, Disneyland is located in California, and although smaller than Disney World, is still packed with amazing rides! I feel that they haven't quite mastered vegan options like Disney World in Orlando Florida, but they still have quite a few!
A fun time at Disney World doesn't have to end when you leave the parks; instead, you can keep the fun going at one of their many resorts. I can personally say that I love staying at one of their themed hotels, as it adds to the whole Disney experience! I've been to 5 of them and each is completely different!
Finding vegan food at them isn't much of an obstacle, as there are also several restaurants at each of these locations and at least one of them has a vegan option that you can try!
Whether you're here for the fun and games or just passing through on your way to and from Hollywood Studios and Epcot, there are a few vegan options available here that you can try! There are both snacks and meals to choose from!
Disney Springs is a great place for shopping for souvenirs and eating out with friends and family. There are also several places where you can find vegan food, including one restaurant that I really want to try!
Splash around in both of Disney World's water parks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach! They both offer unique experiences, as well as options for vegan food!
Disney World's land of Rock and Roll and home to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge as well as the Hollywood Tower of Terror, Hollywood Studios offers several vegan options to choose from!
Home to animals from all around the world, a land of dinosaurs, and super fun rides, Disney's Animal Kingdom has something to offer everyone. That's no exception with their food either as they offer quite a selection of vegan menu items for you to enjoy!
Travel the world without ever leaving the United States at Disney's Epcot! Not only can you look at the many famous landmarks of the world, but you can also try food from different countries. Here is the ultimate list of the vegan options that the restaurants of Epcot have to offer!
Please note that although we have done our best to find the vegan options available at each of these restaurants, menus change and options that were once vegan may not be vegan anymore, so always make sure to check that they are vegan by asking the waiter.
