Eating Out as a Vegan

As I vegan, I find that eating at home is pretty easy.  There are so many tasty recipes and alternatives to everyday products, so dining in made simpler.  Eating out sometimes proves to be a struggle though, since there are many people who aren't 100% sure what vegans can and cannot eat, and not all options are labeled, making it tricky to order.  That's why I've come up with this list of vegan-friendly restaurants, along with the options that you can enjoy while living a cruelty-free life!

Mellow Mushroom

Our first restaurant meal since the start of Covid-19 was just this past week, and we had 2 delicious vegan pizzas from Mellow Mushroom!  They offer a wide variety of vegan toppings for their pizzas, and although pizzas are amazing, that's not the only vegan option that they have!

When we had Mellow Mushroom recently, we had 2 build your own pizzas.  One was a vegan cheese pizza and the other had vegan cheese, onions, and green peppers!  Unfortunately, we were too hungry and forgot to take pictures of them :)

Mellow Mushroom is probably best known for their pizza (after all, it's in their logo), so I'll start with that.  It's also the only thing that I've tried from there, so it's the only menu item that I'll be able to give my opinion about.

Please note that although I've done my best to find the vegan options available at each of these restaurants, menus change and options that were once vegan may not be vegan anymore, so always make sure to check that they are by asking the waiter.

Also, more options may be added, so if you know of any, kindly let me know so I can share them here with other vegans!  I truly appreciate it!
