The perfect side to accompany basically any Italian dish, or just a snack to eat by itself, these vegan garlic knots are surprisingly easy to make and are extremely tasty! This recipe makes about 16 or so nice-sized garlic knots per batch! IngredientsThese tasty knots are full of flavor, having a combination of different herbs, parmesan, and garlic, all coming together to create these savory breads! RecipeFor the Dough: 2 and 1/4 tsp active dry yeast 1 and 1/4 cups warm water 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. salt For the seasoning: 3/4 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/4 cup vegan butter-flavored coconut oil 2 tbsp shredded Violife parmesan* Directions
Notes*Feel free to use as much as you'd like. Follow Your Heart parmesan shreds also works great! **The longer you let these rest, the more that the flavor will seep into the dough and the flavor will become stronger and tastier. However, don't leave it out too long or the yeast might start to ferment, so about half an hour would be great! REcommended for youFor a very similar and potentially even better version of this recipe, make sure to check out my garlic bun recipe! It's basically the same recipe but baked in a cake pan, so the buns take in even more flavor and are fluffier!
