Whether it's movie night, game night, or a party, snacks are always a great thing to serve, and although there are many vegan snack options, finding them can be a difficult task. Especially when looking for snacks that are palm oil-free. That's why I've made a list of my all-time top ten, vegan, palm oil-free snacks. They're the best snacks out there since they are all cruelty-free and have not sacrificed flavor doing so. I've tried all of them myself, and buy them all whenever I can! 10. Late July Sea Salt & Lime Tortilla chips are a great snack when dipped into your favorite salsa, queso or guacamole, and they're a great meal when made into nachos, but most that I've tried are flavorless when eaten by themselves. That's what makes these tortilla chips so great. When eaten with a dipping, they're deicious, but when they're eaten alone, they're just as great! With a drizzle of lime and just the right amount of salt (not too much and not too little), these tortilla chips are by far the best tortilla chips out there! 9. Siete Cashew Queso Mild Nacho The first time that I ever tried this queso dip was for my family's New Years Eve celebration, and let me tell you, it was a hit. We were all crowded around the container dipping our tortillas into it and constantly eating it . We weren't vegan at the time (we went vegan on New Years Day), and so we had a bowl of M&Ms and other chocolates, but I was more content with the Siete Cashew Queso Mild Nacho dip, and spent quite a long time around it. We were playing board games all night long, and whenever someone got up to use the bathroom or get a drink of water, I got up too and went to the chips and dip. That container, along with another dip (I don't recall which, this one was better) was consumed by three people before midnight, and I was quite disappointed that we hadn't thought about getting another container. This queso has been the best that I've ever had, and I wish that we had some right now. 8. Wholesome Organic Delishfish Made to be like the Swedish Fish gummies, these DelishFish are not only vegan and organic, but they also taste better than Swedish Fish! They're also naturally flavored and colored, so they're not full of artificial ingredients like most gummies are, and are free of corn-syrup, making them healthier than many candies. What could be better than a vegan and all natural raspberry flavored sweet that's delicious? 7. Beanfield's Bean Chips Nacho When you're craving nachos, but don't want to make them, you can just open a bag of Beanfeild's Bean Chips, nacho flavored. They're made with beans and full of a delicious nacho flavor that'll keep you munching on them until you've finished the whole bag yourself. Trust me, I know, I've done it. They're perfect for your next party, or simply for a day when you have the munchies and are craving a good snack! 6. Greyston Vegan Cinnamon Roll Blondie Greyston Bakery makes Snickerdoodle blondies, and I've never tried them before due to the fact that that one is not vegan, but this cinnamon roll blondie one is vegan and tastes a lot like a snickerdoodle cookie. That's great new for me since snickerdoodles are my favorite cookie, and I'm glad that this blondie tastes a lot like one! Whenever we go to the super market, we almost always stop by to get this treat and we often end up eating it on our way back home. It barely ever makes it back since it's consumed along the way, and it's usually gone in a matter of seconds! 5. Lesser Evil No Cheese Cheesiness Before we were vegan, we loved having white cheddar popcorn and always had it whenever we watched a movie. It was my favorite popcorn, but then, after finding Lesser Evil No Cheese Cheesiness, that became my new favorite popcorn. It tastes like white cheddar popcorn, is organic, and is kind to animals, making it way better than the one that we used to have. It's one of my favorite movie-time treats, and I also enjoy this popcorn when we go on long road trips, which is quite often. 4. Dandies All Natural Vanilla Marshmallows Perfect right out of the bag, toasted over a bonfire or made into crispy treats, these are the world's best marshmallows. They're made by a vegan company, and are free of artificial colors and flavors. They have no corn-syrup and are free of the most common allergens, making them perfect for almost everyone! Apart from the classic vanilla marshmallows, Dandies also makes mini marshmallow which are just as good! There's also pumpkin marshmallows and peppermint marshmallows, but I've never tried those two. I hope to try the peppermint ones though, and I hope that I can soon! 3. Hippeas Vegan White Cheddar Deffinately one of my favorite movie-time treats, Hippeas organic white cheddar puffs are a savory snack that everyone in my family enjoys. They're made with chickpeas and are tasty all throughout the day. Sometimes we have them for breakfast, we often have them as a pre-lunch snack, and on occasion we've had it for dinner. Although I've never done it before, I do believe that I could have an entire bag of Hippeas for each and every meal of the day! 2. Red Vines Mini Bites Made Simple For quite a long time my favorite candy was Twizzlers. When allowed to choose a sweet from the candy aisle, I'd always select a pack of Twizzlers. When I found out that palm oil was harming animals in Indonesia, Malaysia and Borneo, and that Twizzlers contain palm oil, Red Vines became my new favorite candy since they're the closest thing to Twizzlers. Not long after becoming vegan, we found out that artificial food coloring isn't vegan and that Red Vines contain it. That was a major disappointment. I thought that I might never have a red vine again, but I cared about animals too much to have them suffering for my pleasure. That's when I found out that Red Vines made Red Vines Made Simple, which is vegan. I was overjoyed to find that out. We purchased a few and guess what? They're my new favorite candy, and they taste just as good, if not better than the original red vines! 1. Cool Haus Dairy Free Dirty Mint Chip Frozen Dessert The best snack on this list is the Cool Haus Dairy Free Dirty Mint Chip Frozen Dessert, and it deserves its place as number 1. It was love at first bite. I was walking in the ice-cream aisle with Mami and my sister when we first saw it. It looked really good, so we decided to get it. As soon as I tried it I knew that it was one of my favorite desserts, and it remains so to this day. A delicious pea-based mint ice cream, that's made with fresh mint leaves, sandwiched between two tasty chocolate cookies with chocolate chips. It's the best ice cream sandwich that I've ever tasted, and the best thing is, it's vegan! The world's best ice cream sandwich just so happens to be vegan! Those are my top ten vegan snacks, and I hope that you enjoy them all as much as I do!
