Clue Night

Last night at my house we had a Clue-themed dinner.  Mami made the food, we all dressed up as Clue characters and afterwards we had to solve the murder!  It was a really fun night, and the food was all delicious!  We had a vegetable lasagna for dinner, and for dessert Mami made mini cardinals; Mmm!  

        I served myself three helpings of dessert since it was so good, and the lasagna was too!  I also asked for thirds of that!  

        After getting dressed, my sister Ariana (aka, Ms. White) and I (aka, Ms. Peacock) joined Mami (aka, Mrs. Scarlet) in the dining room where the festivities would commence.  When we sat down, we found a letter on the table.  Mami had written it herself and it was 100% original. 

        The lasagna was very tasty.  Mami had made it a little in advance and so the edges were a bit crispy, but otherwise, it was perfect.  The vegan cheese shreds were creamy and delicious, and the homemade sauce was excellent too.  The noodles were cooked to the perfect texture.  It was a scrumptious meal!

The dessert, mini cardinals, was
scrumptious as well.  I love meringue, especially topped with whipped cream and freshly cut strawberries.  Who wouldn't?  It's one of the world's BEST desserts!  Furthermore, making it vegan makes this cardinal even better than the rest.  It wipes out its competition, winning by a landslide! 

        After dinner, we went on a scavenger hunt to find out who was the murderer.  Mami had set up a few clues and the last one led to an envelope with who had done it, where and with what.  It turns out that it had been Mrs. Scarlet (Mami), in the library, with the rope.
