Buffalo Mac & Cheese

My house-famous mac and cheese is a dish that I make very often for my family, and although I've created a few versions of it already, but one of the easiest and tastiest is my buffalo mac and cheese, which is creamy and spicy, but not too spicy!

Ingredients

1 pound pasta noodles, cooked to your liking 
3/4 cup oat milk
1/4 cup "The New Primal Medium Buffalo & Wings Sauce"*
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
8oz bag Violife Colby Jack shreds**

Directions

  1. In the liquid measuring cup (or a small bowl), mix together the oat milk, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, and buffalo sauce. 
  2. Add the mixture to the empty pot and stir over medium heat. 
  3. Add the Colby jack shreds and mix until creamy.  
  4. Once melted, add the pasta into the pot and stir to evenly coat the noodles. 
  5. Remove from heat and serve! ​

Notes

*You can use any vegan buffalo sauce, but this is the one that I use, and I really like the flavor, so it's the one that I'd recommend using :) 
**Their cheddar shreds work well as well for this recipe, but if you can get Colby then I'd recommend that one.  Also, although I only use Violife, other vegan cheese brands should work instead.
