Cornbread

A sweet bread, perfect as both a side dish or as a tasty snack, this cornbread is quick and easy to make!

Recipe:

Ingredients

1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal (medium ground)
2/3 cup cane sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 and 1/4 cup rice milk
​1/3 cup sunflower oil 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease an 8"x8" pan.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Stir in the rice milk and sunflower oil until thoroughly combined and pour the patter into the greased pan.
  4. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cut and serve.  Enjoy!
