As a big fan of cheese, I'm glad that I'm finally able to make my own! It is very tasty, with a ton of flavor and is great with saltine crackers!
This cheese doesn't melt, but there are still many ways that you can enjoy it. I personally have only had it with some saltine crackers (they're a great combination), but you can try using it in a sandwich, cutting it into cubes (it slices very well), or shredding it to top a salad!
2 cups oat milk
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
2 tbsp. agar agar powder
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp turmeric (for color, so optional)
1 tbsp. water (either warm or at room temperature)
1 tsp tahini
*I used a large ramekin as a cheese mold
