My birthday was a few weeks ago, and it was the day that I turned 18! So, to celebrate, my Mami decided to throw me a Paris-themed birthday party! The decorations were festive, and the food was delicious! Here's how we celebrated this year!
The days leading up to my birthday were busy, as it usually is, since it's so close to Christmas time. This year we also made a trip to Canada, so there was more going on as well! Nevertheless, Mami managed to throw an amazing birthday party that I loved! There were a ton of great snacks and treats, and the decorations were excellent too!
First of all, what a birthday party without a birthday cake? To go with the pink Paris theme, my Mami made a delicious lemon cake with strawberry frosting! It was delicious!
As for the rest of the menu, "truffles" (aka: chocolate covered Cocomels), strawberries, grapes, baguettes, croissants (from Whole Foods), and a few blocks of Violife parmesan cheese! They're all foods that I really like; especially the chocolates, cheese, and croissants! I ate a ton of all of it!
Later on, for dinner, Mami made some baked ziti; one of my favorite foods! Well, technically it was baked farfalle, my favorite pasta noodle! It was so delicious, I had 3 servings!
But before we had dinner, I got to open my gifts. I loved all of it! There were a few rowing themed and animal activist themed shirts and a hat, as well as a shark plush from my little sister!
I had an amazing time celebrating my birthday with my family this year and I really loved the party that my Mami threw for me!
