Saucy Noodles

A savory and flavorful pasta, these saucy noodles are a tasty ethnic dish!

Ingredients

1 lb. angel hair or spaghetti, prepared to the instructions on the box 
1 
cup room temperature vegetable broth
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup corn starch
2 to 3 tbsp. maple syrup
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp. sesame oil

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the broth, soy sauce, corn starch, maple syrup, lemon juice, ground pepper, and sesame oil.
  2. Heat a pan and simmer the sauce over medium heat.
  3. Mix to make sure that the corn starch has not stuck.  Add the cooked noodles to the sauce and mix. 
  4. Continue to cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens and is absorbed by the noodles.
  5. Add some salt and pepper, to taste, if preferred.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
