Cannoli Dip

A sweet dip that tastes exactly like a cannoli, this is a tasty treat all on its own!

This cannoli dip is absolutely delicious with Vegan Empire's crepes!  It's just the right amount of sweet, and is perfect for breakfast or for dessert!

Cannoli Dip Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup Vegan Empire's ricotta cheese (see recipe below)
8 oz. Violife cream cheese, (at room temperature)
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup vegan semisweet chocolate chips*

*I like using "Enjoy Life".  They're vegan and palm oil-free.

Directions

1. Beat together the ricotta, cream cheese, and powdered sugar with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until smooth.  This should take 3 to 5 minutes.
   
2. Add in the vanilla and beat for another 30 seconds.
   
3. Taste the dip and add more sugar if needed.
   
4. Stir in the chocolate chips by hand and enjoy!

Ricotta Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

14 oz. firm tofu, drained and pressed
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3 tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 tbsp. coconut oil

Directions

1. Place all of the ingredients in a food processor and blend until completely smooth.
